Monday is the movie. _Anatomy_of_a_Murder_ (1959) at Bryant Park (Avenue of the Americas (6th Av) between 40th and 42nd Sts--behind the Main Library in Manhattan). I'm going to go early and set up a couple blankets and possibly get a yellow balloon as a beacon. I'm going to try to set up near the middle on the north side of the transverse path which runs from the screen to the library. We'll try to go out for coffee afterwards.
Be advised: the official start time of the movie is "sunset," so check your Old Farmer's Almanac for more detailed info, but I hear they're going to have some live music beforehand. The rationale is this--the score of the movie was composed by Duke Ellington, and this year is the 100th anniversary of his birth (watch for his uncredited cameo appearance as well).
