The World Is Not Enough for
the Movie Lovers' SIG
Greg Draves
Pierce Brosnan takes his third crack at the role made famous by George Lazenby -- oh, and that Scottish guy. Michael Apted directs this 19th MGM-UA Bond film. Garbage performs title song.
We're going to be attending the 8:15 PM screening of "The World Is Not Enough" at the United Artists Union Square 14 (850 Broadway -- corner of Broadway and East 13th Street in Manhattan).
The reviews have been mixed -- some say Pierce Brosnan is the best Bond since Connery, others say the famous formula has grown tired and irrelevant. Judge for yourself.
Don't forget to buy your tickets in advance from the box office, online at http://www.moviefone.com or http://www.uatc.com or by phone at212-777-FILM or212-253-2225. I'll try to be there by about 7:30 to meet people, and I'd recommend no one come later than 7:55 or so.
Recommendations for a snack afterwards are welcome. To make a suggestion or for more details, contact Henry Bergos or Greg Draves. You can email Greg at greg.draves@gnym.org.
