The cost is only $99 per night, for a single or double on Friday and Saturday. For those staying later - only an additional $50 for Sunday night. The Staten Island Hotel is convenient to downtown New York City, Long Island, the New Jersey Turnpike, Newark and Kennedy International Airports. For those staying at the Staten Island Hotel during the RG, we have arranged for free guest passes at a NEARBY Bally's Gym. You can visit Bally's Gym on Friday until 10 pm and on Saturday and Sunday from 9 am to 6 pm.

Great Meals & Great Speakers

We have a great buffet with a great speaker planned for Saturday evening and Sunday brunch, however, we would appreciate it greatly if you would PRE-register for these two meal events (by using the Registration form which can be downloaded below), as the hotel needs to know IN ADVANCE. Thank you for your consideration.

Special Saturday Rate For
Mensa Qualifying Exam Takers
And Other Non-Mensans

We will be offering the Mensa qualifying exam at the Staten Island Hotel on Saturday. Normally, the fee for this test is $30 and the registration fee to attend the Regional Gathering events on Saturday only is $45. As a special inducement to prospective new members, on Saturday, for $45 you can take the qualifying exam AND come to all of the day's events.

Note that non-Mensans who wish to attend the Regional Gathering on Saturday but not take the qualifying exam may do so by paying the $45 day rate registration fee.

Congratulations To The Winners!

If you have paid your registration fee and your two night hotel stay by February 1, 2001, you have been automatically entered in the Early Bird Registration drawing. Two lucky individuals will each win one night's stay free during the Regional Gathering weekend!*

* Tax excluded - two night minimum stay required.

How To Register

The Regional Gathering registration desk at the Staten Island Hotel will be open on Friday from 2 pm to 10 pm, on Saturday from 9 am to 1 pm and on Sunday from 9 am to 10 am. If you are planning on coming at any other time, please ask at the front desk of the hotel where to find the Registrar (Brenda). You cannot attend any functions until you have been registered.

A registration form with all the information you need is available for download in several formats. Just click on the button of your choice below. You can also right click on a button and select 'Save Target As...' (or 'Save Link As...') if the file opens in a program and you'd rather just save it on your computer.
