Young Mensans Spring Backyard Party

On Sunday, May 16, 1999, the Greater New York Young Mensans were treated to a Spring backyard party hosted by Maryanne and Jim in Eastchester, NY. The party was very nice, Michael received his guest with plenty of food, many games and outdoor activities.

Lunch was served as soon as the first guests arrived but the children had very little time to spend with food, as playing was too important. Even late visitors, including myself, had lunch.

William and Michael were soon outside and Alice did not wait too long to join them. When Zach arrived he enjoyed trying a hockey game and the other children soon took part. Adults also played with the children, enjoying the big and pleasant garden our hosts had made available to us.

Despite the wonderful sunshine and excellent company, the time came when we all had to leave for a short drive back to the city. My first trip to Eastchester was a very enjoyable experience and, as usual, the Young Mensans had a great time!
